Ride home from work was going fine until some decided if you indicate to change lanes you've got right of way even if there's a motorbike in your way. Twot wouldn't even look at me when I banged on his window.

People become very lazy and don't look. They expect the indicator to do it all. Lazy bastards in my opinion. Kwacky lucky nothing happened, but would be a good place to be wearing your camera for this exact reason

Played "dodge the lane switcher". 3 times today on the motorway. People move across then wonder why there's a motorbike 2 foot from their rear with its headlights on full beam and the horn being sounded.

Horrible ride in this morning. Rain mixed with muddy spray reduced visibility on the bike. I need a set of wipers on the visor.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
it was worse in the car. 2 hours as M6 was shut and everyone used the A5.
I need to get another set of tyres and get back on the bike. Bloody punctures. As being late is getting frowned on. Even though I am normally 30mins early everyday just in case of delays.

Nope. Still got the originals plus a brand new rear never used that fell into my possession.
Unfortunatley as my current wheels are the forged racec ones, it's not a simple swap job. Needs different spacers and and a different ABS sensor

Can't you take the current rear wheel and the spare tyre to a near by garage one of the lunchtimes?

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I don't have a paddock stand for the S3 yet so can't remove it. I have to borrow one when free.
I need to change the front now though too as that was the third rear (due to punctures too) so may as well get a pair fitted.
It doesn't help that due to moving soon and a sprog on the way, the shed is full of boxes filled with house stuff and clothing etc. Giving me very little room for the bike.

Very cold this morning. There was front on the road. No issues with the Z8s though, I didn't feel any slides or see the TC light come on.

Took the brake pads all round as I was unsure how much life was left in them. Turns out a fair bit!! So gave the calipers a clean and scraped out the brake dust and replaced. All is well!
