If I had to vote who on this site would be most likely to be photographed in that exact situation it would fully be D41
If you buy one Blade I'm coming over for a ride!!

Blade, I love RSV4s but have you spoken to anyone regarding which age to buy and which age to avoid?
There's an aprilia specialist my mate used who knows all the ins and outs - if you want I can try find his number or website so you can have a chat with him?
The old ones in particular need special attention ASAP because the nut they use to tighten the cam chain becomes loose due to the direction of rotation - it means that it is likely to come undone overtime and there is risk the chain isn't correctly retained and therefore blown engine.

Cheers Cav.
Ideally I fancy a 14my as I really like the colour scheme and no major faults according to Griff at Aprilla Performance Centre.
Kwacky I had seen that but IMO it's well over priced.

I did think it was expensive, but your negotiating skills are legendary.

Not sure if the 1st bike in the original post might have genuiely touched down and scuffed the fairing and not crashed as first suspected.
I remember reading of Kar complaining his Tuono was decking out now and this post seem's to show its at least possible.

If there are no marks anywhere else then it seems plausible. The mark is very low down, if it had been on it's side the rest of the belly pan would be marked. If it's been in the gravel you would expect marks at the front of the underside of the fairing. If it's been on its side then marks higher up.
Ask him to remove the GB engine over to see if that's hiding anything.

It's an aprilia thing to have scraping belly pans - especially if the guy is on the larger side or rides fast - especially if he is both

I'm fairly sure Fast Bikes magazine have also mentioned that RSV4s can deck out in their track tests. My only issue would be to want to see under the frame protectors.

Cheers lads.
The frame protectors if put on properly Duke won't come off, at least the ones I had on my Blade wouldn't.

I am very tempted and have the funds available but ideally would like shot of the zx10r first as insuring 3
bikes is an arse and don't really like selling privately as you never know who is turning up at your house
would snap up if at a stealers and px was an option
Anyone interested in a zx10r ???

Yep...I remember you mentioning that a while back about them touching down. Pretty sure someone posted a vid. of it happening.
