I'm thinking that perhaps the weather, combined with all the air issues at this time of year will antagonise your underlying problems.

Sorry to hear little Cav wasn't well.
Negligence claims against hospitals involving children are a big problem. Doctors and nurses are shit scared of doing or saying the wrong thing, which is why it's now common for parents to be passed around until someone has the confidence to make a decision.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I am suffering with breathlessness and a little discomfort in the chest , ECG was good , O2 stats were very good considering I still smoke a bit , cholesterol was a bit high , they are going to get my GP to prescribe an alternative to the statins which made my hair fall out , CT scan is a non invasive way to check the bloodflow in and around the heart and thats next on the list of tests , hopefully they will find the cause and be able to fix it , until then I just need to not overdo things ,keep up the exercise and perhaps improve my diet a little ( more rice ,fewer chips etc ) . Thanks all for the concern/good wishes , much appreciated .

I'm not against it, but it certainly could have been panic central for a lot of parents. I'm happy we spoke to someone who knew what they were talking about in the end.Kwacky wrote:Sorry to hear little Cav wasn't well.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I want to donate blood but having a banned medical issue means they really don't want mine. I've signed up to be an organ donor but those will probably go to a lab for research rather than for transplant.
Today has been a quiet one with a shopping trip and more than enough money spent at Halfords on a Ryobi electric impact gun, my 25 year old air powered one is loosing it's edge.

Back to the Doctors , new symptoms are leading me to believe this is not heart related , I imagine I will be going to the hospital for an x-ray after the doctors and see where it goes from there .

Re: What are you doing today ??
I was correct in my assessment, two shadows / clouds on the x-ray, fortunately they are only pneumonia and an additional infection, currently on iv antibiotics, CT scan today to try and find a dvt in the same lung,

Re: What are you doing today ??
I'm so glad they're "only" pneumonia and an infection! Had me worried at "shadows".
