Re: What are you doing today ??
Teaching the latest bunch of trainees about Ejection Seats, frying their brains by explaining the full sequence of operation of a Mk 10A seat in about 15 minutes, whilst simultaneously worrying myself about my daughter who is taking her 11+ exams.
This is crunch time for her as it will determine whether she gets into her school of choice or not. Essentially the result will dictate the next 7 years of her life.
To quote my daughter...
"So no pressure or anything!"

Re: What are you doing today ??
The pressure got to my daughter and she had an anxiety attack during her second exam. Needless to say she didn't get in.
Good luck to your lass.

Applied for a mortgage, cleaned the house, spot of gardening and washed both cars and then made everyone's tea.
Think I've earned a beer doing that lot. Cheers

Re: What are you doing today ??
She seemed okay when she came out. After all our practice and revision/last-minute cramming she said that she only failed to answer 5 questions. Or 6. Or maybe 7.
I don't know how many there were but if it's anything like her practice papers there'd be over 100.
So we'll just have to hope she answered them right and given herself the best chance she can. She's done her best and that's all we asked of her. Whatever the result, we can relax now and give the tests a break.
Hopefully she's done better than the girl who managed to lock herself in a toilet!!!

About to head to the airport, got 3 days of training in Perth.
Just read my course instructions and discovered I have a pile of pre-work to complete prior to the course tomorrow! Guess I know what I'm doing on the plane!

Hope I haven't caused offence mate. This girl just couldn't get out, they were having to tell her how to operate the lock from the other side of the door.Kwacky wrote:That's what my daughter did when she had her panic attack.Itchy wrote:

My daughter's was a deliberate act. It was the first time she had one of these attacks so it took us all by surprise.

Had 3 estate agents round to value our home. First one was very knowledgeable and professional, second professional but not as knowledgeable. Third one full of her own self importance and talked loads of crap with zero knowledge. The only thing she was good at was annoying me
