Joking aside if it's priced right they will be like gold dust this year.

Wouldn't you have to change the ECU and some of the wiring and sensors as well to get the use of the dash features?DaytonAndy wrote: I'm still crossing my fingers that that dash will be a direct replacement on my Daytona
There's new switch gear to control the dash but after that I don't know. I don't know all the features of the new dash but I'd assume the basics are the same like revs, speed, temperatures etc. I don't know if the ecu has anything to do with the dash or if it just reads everything directly off sensors? As you know I've owned the last two generations of Daytona and the vast majority of connectors and the like have stayed the same as it's obviously cheaper for them that way. That dash will also presumably appear on a few Triumphs from now on so maybe it has been designed to work? Having said that, maybe new engine new system. Either way I can't see it being cheap though!Kwacky wrote:Wouldn't you have to change the ECU and some of the wiring and sensors as well to get the use of the dash features?DaytonAndy wrote: I'm still crossing my fingers that that dash will be a direct replacement on my Daytona
