First Ducati 916s being prepared for racing - 1993/94
Some interesting photos of the factory race bikes being prepared for racing for the first time. I know i am more than a little biased but nothing on two wheels will ever look better IMHO.

Biased or not, you can't his from the simple fact that it's a bloody good looking bike.

Absolutely stunning. Its rare but with bikes like the 916 and cars like the 911 the manufacturers just hit perfection at the very start and it can never be eclipsed.

Nice find, Jack. But £36k for a bike you wouldn't ever want to use if you wanted to keep your money safe.

Re: First Ducati 916s being prepared for racing - 1993/94
I lusted after one of those for years, I watched Foggy, Bayliss, Shakey and Hizzy on those bikes and for me 916's are right beside the 70's strokers as the best looking/sounding racing bikes ever.
Fwiw I nearly bought a genuine 916 SPS, but it had been involved in a shunt and had lost its numbered fork brace - without that it'd never be 100%. That was the closest I ever got to owning one sadly, but I still think they are the best looking bike ever.
