Bank Holiday weekend plans
What's everyone up to?
Friday - gym with a mate. We wont' get anything done, just stand around being those annoying gym people we all hate.
Saturday - wife is at work so I've got the kids. I'll give the SX a wash then in the afternoon get a new rear tyre fitted
Sunday - local pub is having a cider and sausage festival so if the weather is good I'll spend the afternoon there with the family
Monday - work on the SX and get it ready for next week.

Re: Bank Holiday weekend plans
Sounds decent Kwacky.
Friday - Gym then fitting a thermostat housing and half the car that we had to dismantle to get to it on the fiesta
Saturday - Off to Pembrey to watch my mates at the track and staying over the night
Sunday - Watch my mates at Pembrey a bit more then head home for a Football team BBQ and drinking games.
Monday - Last minute holiday shopping and packing. I might get out on the bike

Re: Bank Holiday weekend plans
Today I'm at work, hoping for an early knock-off.
Saturday I'll be trying to keep up with Monty. If he's "taking it easy" it'll be almost manageable.
Sunday - no idea.
Monday will see sister in law and her family coming round which will test my barbecuing skills. Especially as their eldest daughter is a veggie!

Where are you guys off to? If it's somewhere close-ish I could probably come out and join you bothItchy wrote:Saturday I'll be trying to keep up with Monty. If he's "taking it easy" it'll be almost manageable.

Re: Bank Holiday weekend plans
I've got a feck load of work to do in the garden this weekend so I can get rid of the skip, most of which involves serious power tools
Apart from that, I will be trying to spend some time with the kids, trying to get some sleep (as i'm not really sleeping very well at the moment), and trying to get out on the bike. The latter may be possible as i've just booked a long weekend break for next weekend
The final part of the weekend plan see's me getting my arse in gear and going for a decent run!! I've just checked the calendar and I have a 10k race on wednesday and I've not run at all for about 3 weeks

Re: Bank Holiday weekend plans
Spent the day doing more gardening/garden shopping. Waiting for Chinese scoff to be delivered for a late dinner.
Saturday - AM, got a man in a van coming to collect all the garden waste, cheaper than getting and skip. When that's sorted I'm going to strip the exhaust off my bike and install my Arrow 3-1 and tail tidy. PM, going for ice cream then to Warwick Arts Centre to watch some show about dinosaurs with Mrs and boy.
Sunday - No plans.
Monday - No plans but maybe a BBQ

.... and then do the other side of the Peaks, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire. It's the bit I've always saved until last on the other ride outs but always ran out of time. Will include Long Hill, Goyt Valley, Macc Forrest and bits of the Cat and Fiddle. Then maybe head over Itchy's leap in the other direction for lunch at the Royal Oak.
