I've got a screaming headache, which woke me up in the middle of the night. If I don't stab someone today will be a success.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Looking at my dating site messages and thinking... "really?"
Example:
33, quite hot, likes bikes, punk, dogs.
On the surface, yay!
She's 6 foot 2. I'm 5 foot 8.
Lol.
FML.

Fine if you're tall yourself. But generally, they don't want to date a guy my height.
My ex was two inches taller than me and wore heels all the time. It was a bit odd.

I don't mind women being taller than me.
How I ended up with a short arse blonde I'll never know.

I don't generally, either. But this is like half a foot.
Oh, and normally they do. It even says on her profile she'd prefer guys over 6'1, so she either didn't look or isn't as fussed as she made out.

Re: What are you doing today ??
After 10 days of trying and not actually dating anyone yet?
Nah, I'm sticking at it. I've got some promising leads. It's just the overall experience is depressing. People get upset about getting turned down and it's horrible, other people act entitled and it's horrible.
Life would be easier if I really was just a **** and didn't remotely give a shit about other peoples' feelings. Well, maybe. But I can't live that way.

One of the reasons I watch First Dates is to remind myself how lucky I am to be out of that crap.
If I ever became single I reckon I would stay that way. I couldn't throw myself into the lions den again.

Apart from that first weekend, and a few dates with complete nutjob before Xmas, that was my plan.
But... well, there's things you miss when you're single. You know?

Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Sadly I've got a history of headaches which come and go, in carrying degrees of pain, location and length (some have lasted a week and completely wiped me out).
No link or cause found so far but they can be triggered by exercise, but they come on when I'm exercising, not several hours later. I gave up all forms of exercise to try and see if that cured it, but it didn't. MRI scans, xrays and blood tests came back with nothing.

Very true. I'm more than fortunate, it's better than a lottery win. How the feck she's put up with me for so long is beyond me. I'm a very lucky man.dogbot wrote:

This is precisely why I pointed out a perceptible link that I considered you may have missed. ?
