Re: lockwire.
Thanks chaps. Has been a bit of a ball ache getting things done but got there eventually just in time for summer! I know is a probably stupid question but would you say is a DEFINITE no no to stick on supercorsas to have two days round the Nurburgring on top of travelling round the Alps and italy after? Probably 4k miles in one week... Thoughts being... +1 for playing on the ring -1 squaring off a tad getting there maybe and -1 for touring and the run back possibly no tyre left... Never had them on the R1 before (had then on th 675) but am gessung the litre bike will kill em in no time???

Re: lockwire.
I'd be surprised if you get 4k miles out of a set of Supercorsas on a litre bike, TBH Rickster.

Re: lockwire.
what about a set of Diablo Rosso Corsas? almost as much grip as Supercorsas but a bit more longevity and just incase it rains a bit more tread? just an idea,

Re: lockwire.
I would think super corsas would be ok only down side to the is getting heat in them, and if if rains I would not like to push them. What about the Metz 7rr that kwacky and d6nutz have on they look like a good allrounder.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: lockwire.
7RR's or T30's would be my choice, I know there's never a "right" answer to tyres but those two seem to have the market for good wear/ good grip in all conditions at the moment. Both seem to grip better than Supercorsas in all conditions, and not square off as much on motorway miles either.
