PCSO on a scooter....

Post by R1ckster »

Hey chaps.. Anyone know definitively if a PCSO on a scooter can stop you and give you a speeding ticket if they wanted to?

Gave me the right hump this morning.. Appreciate I was doing around 45 to 50 in a 30..but dual carriage way both sides and totally empty of pedestrians at stupid o'clock this morning..

I followed him doing 40 and then had the cheek to tell me off at next set of lights saying what for etc..

I just agreed and said sorry.. But what's the official score with these lads?

Not knocking them just curious

No, they can't issue you with a ticket, they don't have the powers to.

“Although PCSOs do not have the powers to issue endorsable fixed penalty notices, they can issue fixed penalty notices for cycling on a footpath, littering and offences under dog control orders. However, their evidence can also be used to prosecute motorists who break the law"

Kick the scooter over and laugh before doing a doughnut and flying off.

Hey! That's Uncle Bob!! :D

The Mongrel Mob had a very big presence in the town I grew up in. The local pub got closed down 3 times in the 5 yrs I lived there due to stabbings. You basically didn't go into the public bar unless you had a patch.

Haha would love to see that PCSO try to keep up to pull you over fella! I think though that's a bit crafty if he was speeding too but still tells you off! Cheeky sod

PSCO on a scooter I know, it's not serious.
