Re: What are you doing today ??
Apparently I'm supposed to send a text every hour to let her know I'm still alive. Otherwise she worries and can't sleep. So by sending her a text when I'm out on the lash in the early hours, she can sleep. Apart from being woken up by her phone of course.

Struggling
Getting in at 5am yesterday then waking up at 5.30 this morning aren't a good combination.

Back in the office today after my course away last week but had a visit from my Training and Competency manager which went well so all signed off now so can legally start advising customers now, time to get my head down and start getting a caseload built.

Heatwave time....supposed to hit 100F in beautiful downtown Hollywood today, so I'll prolly end up doing exactly bugger all except complaining that the A/C in this house is fecked beyond belief.
Maybe I'll go out and do something meaningful and fulfilling today.....like shopping, for instance....../

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yesterday went to Hayling Island. I Think I haven't been there before unless I was too young to remember. It was a lovely day so me and the missus had a lovely walk along the beach with the dog but she wasn't allowed off the lead as its in season. Went to a cafe to have lunch, I had pie and chips and my missus had a jacket potato, I couldn't believe the price of it, we got 2 meals 2 drinks and a thick shake for £16 it was so cheap!! Hayling island clearly needs a good amount of investment it's very old! But a good day was enjoyed by all!

Going out for a few pints with one of my new neighbours.
Not met the guy yet but thought it would be a good ice breaker and good to meet the neighbours

Re: What are you doing today ??
Talking to and supporting my little Sister, who useless lazy feck of a husband has been playing away (yet again) and is now on the road to being a single parent.
I've often talked about bad things happening in 3's, however this last 12 months we really have had 3 major problems in the family, 1, our Mum died suddenly last October, 2, My Sister in Law has terminal cancer with between 2-12 months to live, 3, my Sister's 24yr marriage has just finished and she's in bits.
I'm not posting this for sympathy, far from it, I'm probably just writing it down as a way of ranting at misfortune I guess, I'm sure other people have equally disastrous periods in their lives, but that doesn't mean anyone going through it has to accept it meekly. Fwiw I'm not, quite the opposite tbh.
Thanks for listening btw. DG.

Bought a new end can for the bike over the phone, LeoVince carbon... I could have got the stainless for £40 less, but there's something about carbon fiber.
