Today has mostly been sitting in the hideous London traffic with a trip to Battersea, a horrible trip made intolerable by yet another cyclist getting killed under a truck and locking London solid. This year cyclist deaths in London has gone through the roof.
Wrenching on my Jeep CJ7, changing my steering links and bushings, plus trying to sort the idling problem by changing the spark plugs, and the fuel filter. Without success, I might add . Next to try, plug wires and distributor. Not much of a mechanic mind you, but a Jeep is dead easy to work on.

Last time I did that I was at work, I passed out fell back, hit my head on a piece of metal, when I woke up I looked down and blood was on the floor, passed it again in because I rushed up too quickly then work up in an abulance heading to hospital. Fuss over nothing! Blood test, glued up sent away!! Plus side - got me out of work for the day hahaha!!
Yesterday had an interview for the promotion. Didn't get the job however fully understand now why my current boss is leaving - fed up inside 18months. I think they want somone outside of our department because they haven't got a clue what is going on whereas I know the ins and outs and know where problems lie.
Actually sort of glad, think I've dodged a bullet here!! Lol! To the next guy in charge I will not be baby sitting them haha!!
Today I'm visiting clients over in the Black Country about a very long running case. We've tried to get rid of it but the Claimant is holding out for silly money, and it's not worth much at all.
Going off to gym slacked a bit as been a tad busy, try to go 3-4 times a week. Then my partner is off out tonight so house to myself [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] not going to complain
Got Hutchy to sign an A3 print ( him in the TT Supersport race 2 ), will be raffled proceeds to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund ,not sorted all that bit out yet though .
I will be emptying the lounge and removing the horrible blue carpet and then polishing the lovely wood block floor that's under it. While doing this I will be watching all motogp races.

Now I've got to work out how to get the carpet back in again..
