Walked over to it and admired it then fixed my car. The exhaust silencer bracket had rusted and broke bought a replacement and fitted it :-)

I put some ACF50 on the bike last night.
My smoking headers made a few people stare when I pulled up at the lights

Be great if you could leave a smoke trail whilst on the bike. Ala red arrowsKwacky wrote:I put some ACF50 on the bike last night.

Went out for a spin last night as i haven't ridden in the dark for quite a while, also a good chance to see how good the LED headlights are on the multi..wow i thought the LED lights on the fannygale were good but these are brilliant honestly better than the lights on my car.
I also moved the power lead for the optimate charger so that it is easier to connect the heated vest, wimpish i know but i was toasty warm

Last night the M40 was blocked due to a car on fire. I've never seen a car torch like that, the flames were about 10 feet high. Good job I was on the bike otherwise I would have been stuck for an hour or more.

I ordered some bits for looking after the bike. The SDoc Chain cleaner, ACF50 and clear protective tape have all arrived. I'm going to give it a proper spring clean when I'm back from holiday.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I read the link someone put up about ACF50. Think I will start using that from now on rather than FS365. It sounds more superior. I acutally have an airbrush and compressor, so think a tin of it would be really easy to apply in all the knucks and crannies.
I had teh protective film Triumph supply fitted straight away during the bikes PDI. It's only on the tank, but figured it best to put it on before any paint wears.

The paint on the zx6r is really thin. I'm tempted to get it all polished up and laquered.

That's why I put those thigh bits on. I couldn't afford the cut to shape stuff, but didn't want to wear the tank paint out. I figured they would protect it until I could afford the ventureshield stuff, and that they are better than nothing.

I had to be in Northampton for 9'ish and ended up on the M42, through south Brum and on the A45/M45 and got to Northampton nearly 2 hours later

I was on the M6 that morning but I saw the overhead sign saying J3-J2 was closed so I came off at the A446 turn off and went down the A45.
Some people were on there for a few hours.
