Checked on their website and found this: https://www.yitechnology.com/yi-home-pc-app
You download an executable and log in with your Yi account to view it. Obviously not as flexible as viewing through a web browser but you can at least view it via your PC or Laptop

Re: Cav's Workshop
The in-laws were over at the weekend and made some very good progress in the demolition of the old, useless shed and removal of the concrete pads and patio slabs. The slabs which remain are 50mm thick so I'll be using them to make a path from the footpath off my property to my side gate.
As you can see, the garden is now a very useable size and shape

The fiancé is pretty handy with a saw too... I actually thinks she's better than I am
All the electrics for inside the workshop are complete minus the 30A SWA supply cable which will be installed once the garden has been dug over and levelled in a few weeks. Only other electrics left to complete are for the external down lights under the front canopy.
It's bloody hard work when you're leg is butchered

Another great weekend... 19 courses in 2 days.

Re: Cav's Workshop
Our neighbour is checking with his builder mates for spares and I found a backup plan. TP stock these bricks so will split packs. 100 bricks for £100 + VAT. It isn't a bad price in all honesty

Re: Cav's Workshop
Fwiw £100 to have a proper match seems a good bet to me. Well done. Are you going to cap the wall when you reach the top, or leave the elements to do their stuff.?Cav wrote:..... TP stock these bricks so will split packs. 100 bricks for £100 + VAT. It isn't a bad price in all honesty

Re: Cav's Workshop
We're getting engineering grey bricks to head the top of the wall - standing them on end for aesthetics.
I'm leaning the same way as you, however, this neighbour's mate rebuilt a number of the walls around our area with these bricks so there's a high likelihood of them matching. We'll see what he can achieve.

Excellent work. That looks good, you've got your extra space and a sense of achievement for doing it yourself.

Re: Cav's Workshop
That looks great mate.
If you don't mind me asking, roughly how much did the whole build cost? Feel free to tell me to feck of if you'd rather not say/remember.

Re: Cav's Workshop
Thanks guys.. the satisfaction so far is unreal so I can't imagine how high it will be once it's fully finished inside the garden !!
We're going patio shopping tomorrow afternoon.
I've lost track of cost to be honest but I think we're around the £2k mark so far. Patio is going to cost a fair amount but I think we're looking at getting a free "offcut" of astroturf. The weatherboard cladding for the workshop is also going to cost a decent amount.
I estimate total cost will be sub £5k all in. It's a £20k+ build if we got someone in

Re: Cav's Workshop
IMO that's a great cost for the build. I bought a wooden (14x10) and kitted out out with insulation, electrics, etc.. that cost me will in excess of 2k, plus I got the base for pretty much free.
Cracking job.
