Brake Pads (again)

As indicated, I'm not too impressed with the SBS I've got on the zx6r.

Looking around there doesn't seem to be that much choice. We all know about the SEBC pads. Armstrong are supposed to be decent but I'm a bit wary buying something cheaply priced.

Brembo seem to be the obvious choice but there's a price to go with that name.

Has anyone tried Bendix? I'm looking at the MF Supersport Sintered Pads

http://www.pdq1.com/brand.php?BrandID=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

MF - SUPERSPORT SINTERED FRONT BRAKE PADS
Performance orientated sintered pads to suit superbikes - for road and track day use. Bendix’s equivalent to EBC ‘HH’ or Carbone Lorraine SBK.
* Sintered metal HH rated to exceed OE specification.
* Superior stopping power in wet or dry conditions.
* Low wear rate on pad and disc
* Progressive feel with no fade.
* Short bed in period.
* Recommended for use with all stainless / OE iron rotors

Any views or experience with these?

Its worth asking this on Performance Bikes forum, Kwacky.

I know one or two recommend different pads to the norm. and some knowledgeable people on there.

I tried but the crap IE8 here and the forum used on PB means I can't CnP.

I'll do it tonight.

I'll give the Bendix ones a go. They can't be worse than the SBS ones. I might keep those for winter riding. They still work but they're a bit wooden.

I've never been disappointed with a set of Brembo pads.. just sayin! How much more expensive are they? I tried various pads on my impreza (brembo, ebc etc) but on my bike I just stick brembos in. I like stopping!

Ouch! Demon Tweeks sometimes discount Brembo pads. Think I paid £80 for a set for my Daytona.

I couldn't get any. The ambassador had given them all away at his last party.

I ran Ferrodo ds2500's in my Impreza. Best pad I've ever used by some margin. They weren't cheap though!

I used ds 3000s on my 911 ,not great on the road but utterly brilliant on track when you got them up to temp

Funny you should say that, literally just driven past the factory.

Never considered them for bikes before but looks like they have quite a few different compound options

SBS race sinstered. You didn't like the SBS street excel but the Rc are in a different league.

Try bikehps if you don't like their recommendation I believe you get your money back. Win win situation.
