Re: What are you doing today ??
slowly dying.. 4.5 hrs sleep today, sandwiched between shift 16 & 17 of my 21 nights. Massive headache from lack of sleep and being a bit slack about using a respirator while mixing up 1000L of Sodium Hypochlorite last night (similar to common bleach, just stronger). 5 more to go........

Would it make you feel better if I told you we use it to dose our domestic use water that the Reverse Osmosis Unit produces, but only at a rate of 0.5mg/L - 0.75mg/L. I just have to make sure the dosing pump is set right so I don't poison everyoneC00kiemonster wrote:Doesn't sound dangerous at all...kiwikrasher wrote:slowly dying.. 4.5 hrs sleep today, sandwiched between shift 16 & 17 of my 21 nights. Briefing a huge sigh of relief as my little lads blood test came back clear.
He has to be tested again in 2 weeks time to confirm the result but me and his mum are so relieved.

Good news! Nothing worse than kids being ill, you wish you could take it from them and just suffer it yourself.Blade wrote:Briefing a huge sigh of relief as my little lads blood test came back clear.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Getting over a marathon shift yesterday that started at 4.30am and finished at 9pm last night, shattered would be an understatement.... However, this afternoon I'll be chopping some kindling, lighting a fire and getting the log burner up to full speed, then off to see Mum in hospital - she's a bit better now, but was very rough after the op, a pit stop at Waitrose on the way home for essential supplies (booze) and some veg, then home and get going on fajitas for dinner tonight whilst giving a well deserved G&T a battering.
