But that new droid looks silly.
that's the sort of talk that leads to the likes of Jar Jar Binks being brought in.
I like that new robot. The behind the scene clips of it operating are pretty impressive.

There is a large and weird looking yellow thing in one of the trailers.

I can't believe people are already queuing up to see it. It's not for another week.

I booked my tickets about 2 months ago, going next Saturday with my eldest. Think I'm more excited than he is.

Likewise. I bought 4 tickets as soon as they came out, so it's a Kwacky Family day out next Saturday. My lad can't watch 3D so it's normal 2d for us, but I'm going to see it at the IMAX the next day with a mate.
My son has bought a star wars book to catch up. He failed my spot test last week so he's trying to get back in my good books.

A few of my friends have already seen it.
I'm trying to avoid seeing any spoilers.

I'm sat in the cinema, waiting for it to start. I feel strangely emotional.

Is it suitable for a 5 and 8 year old ?
Might take the double menaces if they behave for more than an hour. The force is definitely in them today

There isn't any graphic blood or violence. No swearing. The baddie is well played though so I'm not sure if your 5 year old would be scared.
My 9 year old really enjoyed it so your eldest will be fine.
It's not a short film. 30 mins of adverts then 2 hour film.
