I might be able to do more than that, I'm currently the highest bidder on 2 bikes :D

Is that good or bad ?

You can ask for a bid to be rejected / withdrawn if it was made in error.

One of them is below the reserve so I won't get it even if I win.

No I haven't mate but have ridden a 959 and do think it would be right up your street.

Likes to be fed revs and gears, ridden hard with confidence and slung around alot (y)

Sounds good to me.

I have watched a few online reviews. The 44 Teeth review where he's hoisting the front wheel in winter kind of sold me to it.

I was the highest bidder but the reserve wasn't met.

I'll wait to see what they do with it.

Give them a ring and make an offer.

If you don't some one else will

I'm one step ahead of you.

He's got a few bikes to sell via ebay, he's got a list of what to sell and when (he doesn't want the hassle of putting them all on the market at the same time) so this bike will be relisted but not for a few weeks.

Seems a bit daft to incur those ebay fees but that's the way he wants to play it.

I've left it with him. I've told him I've got the cash ready.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... le&_sop=10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Click on the ebay link. Does that first item work for anyone else? It's a 959 on auction. I click on it and it says page missing.
