I've been for a lovely sports massage

I cycled into work in the freezing cold.

The right gear makes such a difference. I was warmer than I've ever been but also the least sweaty. Merino lined leggings, merino under-top, merino snood and a waterproof jacket. What's more, the stuff doesn't smell like the normal synthetics, it packs away really small and it's comfortable.

I bought Wiggle's own brand stuff (dhb) for what I thought were very reasonable prices. It'd definitely help any of you commuters if you don't already have anything.

I swear by merino wool, all my walking and biking under gear is merino, fantastic stuff. You can wear it for days and it just doesn't smell.

I like the UnderArmor gear... the wool stuff itches too much for me. And it folds down to nothing.

Having a crisis of epic proportions.......

I never thought of that..... and I have no idea if that's true or not....??
I have a kettle, but it takes too long to boil... I rarely use it. Microwave takes exactly one minute and then I'm in Nescafe Heaven.

It's true, you can buy kettles in the US but they're all 110 volts and take too long to boil. We have proper 240 volt man kettles in the UK.

The crisis was narrowly averted.. I popped to the caravan and borrowed it's kettle. It is a low power on and does take a while to boil, but as deliveroo/Uber/etc don't come out here it beats boiling water on the stove.

A "man kettle"??? What, do you boil people in the thing?
Anyway.... mine's a stovetop kettle... it has exactly zero power - electric or otherwise - running through it. Kind of like your head.

I think they cost an extra 30p or so for a delivered coffee.. I've never done it but I have used the Costa Click&Collect service though.

I don't care for real coffee....I don't like that caffeine-boost or whatever it is....or the dehydration that comes with it. Nescafe is where the real action is at.

I have a travel kit Aeropress and I make a quality espresso with proper coffee even in jail.
