Apparently not unheard of in September but it is rare.

Fwiw I know all the locations shown in that clip (even stayed in the hotel in the background of one shot).
That does look promising for a good snow season, but I wonder how the hell they're going to cope with Cv19 about. No one is going to be squeezing into a gondola with 300x others for a 15 min elevation. Even chairlifts often have queues of hundreds crushed together waiting their turn.
Then there's the Apres-Ski. -Cramped hot sweaty bars & raucous drunken behaviour are what it's all about.

Could this virus be the death-knell to wintersports.?

I hate the winter. Each year gets worse. I need to move somewhere warm and sunny (blush)

I need a little bit more sun and warmth. Only just finished laying soil and putting grass seed down.
