I did that and rode it for 3 months of rehab post surgery, but since then it's turned into a bit of an ornament lol

I got a Lifespan Sp-870 for $300 second hand (Retail $900).... but barely used.

Oh...that's right. I'd forgotten about that.

I need to get back in the saddle more instead of just talking about it.
I did clean my bike yesterday....it's a step in the right direction. Probably.

Minoura do a few rim drive versions, I used to have a Minoura RDA 850, rim drive magnetic resistance. Set the resistance and used the gears for increase and decreased load. Used it on my road bike and mountain bike back in NZ.

Only one I could see in UK ebay but looks a bit crappy

I've got the bike in the house and set up the dumb trainer.

Now to get rid of some of this lock down lard.

Been to the pump track again on the rebuilt bike.. it's awful but it can at least hold itself together over some jumps.

I nearly had my first OTB which was fun... nose cased the heck out of a tabletop.

My quads are dead after very little time but its a fun way to regain fitness.

I went to the pump track again this morning. I filmed it. Lol. I am terrible!

The video helped me improve though so onwards and upwards.

Fyi.. physio asked me to reintroduce gentle impacts so cycling and these jumps are ideal.

Another visit to the pump track for 6 laps and then a ride home down the muddy and frozen canal path. It was good fun having a few minor slides, I can't wait to hit the trails in the woods at the end of the month!

Fingers crossed.

My shoulder is a lot better so I reckon I can start trying to ride on the road again, once this snow and ice has gone.

Did a quick 6-7 mile road-ride this morning just to dust the cobwebs off my mtb & joints, legs, etc. It's too cold out there to even get warmed-up properly.
