Re: Star Trek Discovery - Season 2
That looks too good to be just a "TV Show".
Know what I mean??
Kinda like "Saving Private Ryan" was the best war movie ever, and then 2-3 years later they did Band Of Brothers, & now SPR just looks like a pilot episode.

The money being spent on TV shows is mindblowing. Some of them have got better effects and production than most films.

Re: Star Trek Discovery - Season 2
Game of Thrones is another, $15 MILLION per episode for the final season, meaning the season will cost more to make then the first Matrix film
I'm really looking forward to both GoT and Discovery

Yep.....it's also got to be better for the actors & crew, etc......instead of looking for roles to do one or maybe two movies a year, once they're locked into a character/part, then it's just steady work from that point on.
They can knock all the shows out in one go and just release them whenever...

Re: Star Trek Discovery - Season 2
The rumours about GoT's last season is that it's been shot in the right format for it to be shown on the big screen. I don't know how true that is, but as there's something big happening in every episode the producers want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to see it at the same to limit the spoiler issue.

I can't watch Game Of Thrones....it's just too violent for my timid disposition.
