No racing yet they awarded points? (swear)

They should have refunded everyone say at least 50% and run the race today if possible. I only watch it now becuase George Russell is going well.

It's an outdoor event.... everybody and their grandmother has got to know ahead of time that it's going to be heavily dependent on the weather, yes???
I don't think anyone can hold the organizers responsible for something that they have absolutely no control over.

they do have control of everything else though and if they have not made the necessary arrangements to be able to run the event in very wet conditions then they have not fulfilled their side of the contract and the paying customer is entitled to a refund .

There used to be extreme wets in F1 so that they could run with standing water etc on the circuit , they no longer have them ( too expensive to bring/develop on the off-chance that you get extreme weather ) .

The reason they could not race was because visibility was literally zero for cars on the track. Way to dangerous.

If I had paid for that I would want my money back.

No idea but I think the British GP is above £100 a ticket.

Looking on their website it seems like they're starting at approx. $180 for the Austin race.... but that apparently also includes access to a Billy Joel concert (????)

Plus Spinal Tap....!!
And a puppet show...

Yep, and worth every penny of that extra C-note you'd drop on that ticket too.

The Black Hole. The 70s classic from Disney. I was a little kid when it came out.

I think I last saw this on VHS in the 80s.

They're remaking that.... or they've been planning a remake. No idea if it will ever happen. I doubt Disney has any idea either.

9/11 - Inside the President's War Room

Very eye opening. Interviews with Bush and his staff discussing their responses as the attacks unfolded.

I bet that makes for interesting viewing.

Imho the whole debacle is an unequivocal example of the validity of that old adage; "Revenge is a dish best served cold".
