The wife’s school will be doing tests with results within 20 minutes. As Cav says, if that is positive then they have to go for a PCR test ......before being allowed back in school.

Shoulder is starting to feel better, there's definitely some movement coming back. Leila's healing hands help :D

I've got a follow up appointment this morning with my Ortho. The shoulder is starting to free up but there's still some limitation of movement.

Another physio/sports massage booked for Friday lunchtime.

I think I may need to look into more physio for my knee. It's feeling funky at full extension and full flexion.

I've been taking creatine and marine collagen to help with my recovery. I can't say for certain if they've helped but taking them has coincided with a much faster improvement for my shoulder.

Creatine is GREAT when you're active. It can really boost strength development which is obviously beneficial for rehab

I've never looked into collagen, what's it supposed to aid?

Collagen is good for regeneration and reducing inflammation to damaged areas.

If you take it with chondroitin it's supposed to be really good for helping your joints, especially connective tissue.

That's really interesting, going to look into that tonight. My achilles is ok, like about 90%, but my right knee has been giving me it's usual winter grief. I'm back to wearing a knee support for running.

My knee.. the one I had surgery on.

I went for a MTB ride, going down a straight lined with trees the roots got rougher but I couldn't slow down. I hit one route and it bounced me into a tree.

I managed to push away from the bike and avoid the tree with my body but I unfortunately hit my knee straight into it. It span me around like a ragdoll and I just laid on the floor for several minutes.

I was able to walk and cycle back to the car. I'm now just on the sofa with ice.

Lesson learned though, don't try to keep up with other people on better bikes, ride my own ride. Thankfully I've not done too much damage but I think I've definitely done something to the MCL or LCL ligament that was already torn. Its getting pretty stiff now.

I'm in a funk. I miss my mates. I miss going out. I miss meeting up for cakes as an excuse to get the bike out. I miss going to the pub to chat shit.

My arm still feels like I've had the village bully giving me dead arms constantly for a whole day.

I've spent the last two days trying to dig out an ingrowing hair in the middle of my left cheek. The bugger is really deep. I think I'm going to have to get some drawing cream and hope for the best.

I'm feeling physically and mentally drained. I don't know if this is the effects from 2 days commuting back to back on my M.E. or just one of those days. It does mean I'm not riding with the guys from work tonight though.

Arrrrrrrgh!!!......Me back's knackin'!!
I don't know what I've done to it.....feels like someone is digging their knuckles In hard, right in-between my shoulder blades.
Think I'm going to have to prescribe myself a few Tylenol & call myself in the morning.

I'm still waiting for my hay fever to kick in. It's usually well underway by this stage. I wonder if not commuting has delayed it.

Lack of sleep (lol)

I got about an hour at most of uninterrupted sleep last night. I've been a mental mess all day. I couldn't remember my address when I went to give blood.

I'm having a big lie in tomorrow.
