I'm flipping knackered, not sure my feet have touched the ground all weekend.

Yesterday started with being the official photographer for Basingstoke park run. It's bloody hard trying to capture 400+ running people and make them look good, I took over 1000 shots in 45 mins.

Then back home and most of the rest of the weekend has been between the kids and doing the flooring in the shed/office.

1 layer of XPS boards for insulation, then an under floor heating kit, followed by laminate. It looks pretty good and the heating seems to work, will find out tomorrow morning.

Commuted in by bicycle and I have established that every single road user is late today. No other explanation for the standard of driving observed.

Flying home finally.

I should be excited but I have a nagging feeling something is going to go wrong and I won’t get there. Hopefully it’s not a premonition

If I do make it home ok the neighbours are going to need earplugs.

Going to the office.

Barnsley first, so 190 mile commute today. Down to Sheffield tonight for a meal and then the Sheffield office tomorrow.

If that's the case, I did the job very right for one girl I was with and it was not a turn on. I just wanted her to STFU if I'm honest. I think I finished her off more times than I remember and I don't actually know if I finished myself :D All I could think about was Search & Rescue being called to recover a stranded seal.

ANYWAY, today I'm calibrating the last of our reference meters. If I'm lucky it's just 5 runs, if I'm unlucky like 2 weeks ago it's over 40 runs.

Off for an MTB ride after work with the guys. It's surprising how quickly I need to clear my headspace these days, this is overdue and I last cleared out a week ago.

Well yesterday…

Got my second jab finally then got refused entry to a pub we tried to have lunch at because my digital vax cert hadn’t generated yet and they wouldn’t accept the interim print out the doc gave me. Luckily a nearby cafe would. An hour later the digital version turned up.

Got the kids and settled them back in to home. Both have grown a lot in 2 months. Jess’ kids are at their dads till early next week, then back to a full house.

Took the car in for an AC diagnostic and tracking as I replaced the wishbones and ball joints, I also asked them to look for a rattle from the rear that I couldn't find scratting about on the floor, much easier with the car up on a lift.

AC
It has a leak but we can't find it, it needs to go to a specialist but we can't recommend any...

Tracking
Nice and easy, thank you for cleaning the threads.

Rattle
Come look at this, looks like a Pigeon shat on it... We've never seen someone weld one of these before and never seen welding like it...
Image

That's the Torsion bar within the rear axle, like an anti-roll bar and surprisingly that "weld" has broken. It's welded at both ends so that axle is scrap, although safe to drive on. £200 for a refurbished replacement which should be fun to change.
