Changed the has bottle on the caravan.

Washed the bike.

Cut the grass.

Just having some lunch before covering the bike in bug splats and going for a quick play on a Z H2 SE.

Reduced movements with baby again today so came in for a check and all is very good. Mrs Cav is getting contractions every 10 minutes and baby is moving lots immediately before each one.

Baby movements trigger contractions which is why stretch and sweeps are so good as they agitate baby causing movements and hopefully contractions.

I've had my money on baby being born today for a number of months now so fingers crossed I'm right!

Wrong :D

The Wife has had contractions throughout the night but it's 9am and she's still sleeping.

I managed about 5 hours this morning. At about 3am the Wife heard a bang and smelled burning. I shot out of bed and established the Dish Washer has packed it in. After the stress of that and obviously thinking of having a Baby in this house it took a long time to get to sleep.

That's brilliant!

I'll save that one for after baby is here.. her contractions are 3-8 minutes now and occasionally very sharp. Things are ticking along lovely

Nahh a long way to go yet. Needs to be at least 3 intense contractions every 10 minutes for an hour before we go in. I anticipate getting woken up in the night tonight.

Waters broke this morning. In maternity ward now just having a check. If all is good we will go home to sleep and labour at home. We'll get invited back for an induction tomorrow morning due to infection risk.

Court appearance done.

Submitted my documents (statement, character references, therapists letters) and have been adjourned till 25 August to allow me to complete a Traffic Offenders Intervention Program.

Only myself and another middle aged numpty were offered that option, probably due to our clean driving history it seems.

So still licenced till next court date and hopefully might escape any suspension

Appears I can do the course online, self paced for $170. I’ve got something to do next time I’m in quarantine (lol)

Waiting for our big boy Ridgeback - Ori at the MRI scanner in Poitiers.

Long story short, found him fitting badly on Friday night, lots of emergency vet visits and 4 fits later we are here.

Life sucks sometimes ;(

Fingers crossed it something simple mate.

I had a Weimaraner back in NZ that had epilepsy, the first fir she had she tried to attack me, was very scary. But I learnt how to manage them after that.

Today I have been a mobile mechanic, Sergio was cleaning his front callipers and managed to pop a piston out so we must have put half a litre of brake fluid through those front brakes to get the air back out. On to Fran's to re-fit a shortened side stand, check the 'foot' was at a reasonable angle and ended up re-setting the suspension on her Z900.

Then home just in time for Sunday dinner. The Pug is a very comfortable place to be but a tank of V-power is not cheap.
