Taking the Versys in for a big service
Bringing a demo bike home, probably a 1290 Adventure
Waiting like a kid at Christmas for the new bike
Hoping it doesn't rain

Yesterday we had a big meeting at work for our team. Such a long day, we aren't used to having to do loads of office work in our line of work!! Luckily back to messing about and fixing machines today!

Unfortunately the same issue here, I’d hate to think where I’d be atm if my company didn’t pay for top level medical insurance as part of my package.kingfixer wrote:The good old NHS that’s why, gonna look into cost of private op !Frankie wrote:That sucks why so long? good news that its all healed
Glad to hear you’ve healed well and best of luck getting the final chapter sorted soon!

Haha... a break before I get started.. love it !!
Right now while I'm typing this my puppy is doing a moonwalk across the landing because I won't throw her ball
Today is a mixture of having visitors, doing uni work and (if the rain stops) cleaning my bike so I can put fairings back on

Finished work and had 2 hours kip. Sounds like my misses has sorted a load of washing I just guess we need to do the cleaning together.
Then will be popping doen to the bike shop to buy a new bike nav as mine can't upload the routes I've created for Scotland the to being a new software program that TomTom use. Also tempted by some Knox Handroid mk3 gloves as at the moment they are £169 a pair

Re: What are you doing today ??
Replacing the battery on my macbook.
Got the tools, got the glued in batteries out and tidied up inside no problem.
Lifted the new battery (still in packaging tray) out the box, sets on fire in my hands, have to run outside sharpish and put it out! Faulty battery it seems..
Glad I was cautious and careful with it or could have been a lot worse.
Now got to fight for a replacement as no way I'm sending this one back in the post, could go off again!
Stinks too..
