Christmas lists
I hate it when people ask me what I want for Christmas. I never have a clue. I tend to buy what I want as I need it.
So now I'm trawling the internet for stuff to tell people I need. Which I don't.

Re: Christmas lists
After last year's farce at Silverstone I think I might swerve asking anyone else to buy me a ticket
I wouldn't mind going though just to hear the new Moto2 bikes.

Re: Christmas lists
I really don't want anything at Christmas time. When I want/get/buy material things I tend to be very particular....so I invariably end up getting gifts that are 90%~or~less of what I like.
Christmas is only really any fun until your kids stop believing in it, anyway.

Re: Christmas lists
The three best things I’ve been bought in the last few years are all things to enjoy, all from Mrs Gee as well, who obviously knows my likes and dislikes. I had a coffee club membership (single plantation stuff), a cheese membership (5 great cheeses) and a 1 day cooking course on Sicilian cooking all good quality and enjoyed with other people.
Present buying has moved more towards experiences as opposed to things.

Re: Christmas lists
I guess that's the hardship of getting old...we use our own money for the things we want/ need...how dumb we are...and we say we get more wiser as time goes on
On a serious note. Don't have to ask for anything materialistic why not ask for a family ticket to the cinema.......Oh sorry not for your family I mean a family ticket so you can have that whole space to yourself when you go to the cinema and don't get tangled up in the awkward moment of arms touching on the arm rest with a stranger where one of you have to back down

Re: Christmas lists
I just wanted to be home for xmas with family, but due to a monumental cock up from vendors solicitors 3 of us have been waiting to exchange on our house sale the last 4 weeks, my buyer is completing today , god knows why as she now has to go into temp accommodation
Only her and I left and just hope they don't walk away and find something else , but realistically they are not going to find somewhere and exchange and complete in 4 weeks. I know it can be done but not likely ...well I'm hoping anyway .
Everything expedited at land registry and nearly there but not in time sadly to complete for xmas .

Re: Christmas lists
It would have been sorted weeks ago just waiting for the registration from LR , all expedited but the wait is so stressful.Kwacky wrote:House moving is a pain. I hope it's sorted.
