Festive Week Plans
So what's everyone up to?
I'm at work today and Monday then back in on Thursday.
Night in tonight. Last of the Christmas shopping tomorrow then out with mates on the evening.
Sunday hangover recovery before my brother and his family come round.
Christmas day is a quiet one at home.
Boxing day round to my mum's to be feed more calories than the England Rugby squad need during a training week.
Then on the 28th we're off to Munich for a few days, back on 1st Jan.

Re: Festive Week Plans
Not a lot really.
Sunday is the Christmas trail run, a group of nutters running a 9 mile trail route. I have a full Santa suit for the occasion.
Christmas Day the whole family descends on my brother's house, and my wife is cooking for 14.
Boxing Day, the brother-in-law and his family are coming to ours.
Apart from that is just family time and eating/drinking too much.
I'll be going back to work some time in the new year when I find a new job..

Re: Festive Week Plans
Christmas Eve will be down at friends for a street party. A local street that goes full on with lights. Every house goes overboard. Everyone from the area goes up and down the culdesac at least once. It’s mayhem. Our friends live on the corner and throw a party every year. Due to circumstance it’ll be the first time Jess and I can go together!
Got my kids till 2pm Christmas Day then drop them and pick up Jess’ kids and head up the coast to her parents for dinner.
My two are fussy feckers eating wise so apart from a bit of ham Christmas lunch won’t be too exciting, probably a BBQ and a few yummies for Jess and I.

I'm going down to South Wales to my mothers for Christmas day along with my wife, I say this because this will be only the fifth time in my life that I will have done this, the last time was when I was five. I have a hotel booked just in case things get a bit frought.
Funny thing families. I am in my 60th set of years, so this will be an interesting few days, I would've done the plum pudding meet at Mallory otherwise.
Whatever occurs have a good one everybody.

Re: Festive Week Plans
My Sis and her squeeze arrive at about midday on Christmas Eve, so we’ll be prepping that afternoon, then chilling with a glass of something nice and Mrs Gee can break her self imposed December chocolate ban.
Everyone is at ours for the 25th, but this year that’s only 8 of us, so just a normal family Christmas, although my Sis’s OH is an amateur Story Teller, so we’ve asked him to do a turn after the meal, I’ve heard good things about him so I’m hoping it’ll be good fun.
Boxing Day is relax and play with our new toys, whilst getting stuck into a buffet lunch/dinner, we aren’t visiting anyone this year, although I’ll be stir crazy by then, so fresh air might be called for.

Eat and drink too much, sleep, repeat!
I’ve booked a few extra days off in January so will be off for two week.
