Matty Laws Racing

Post by MLR193 »

Hey gang.

Long time no see.

Even after all these years I still have the fire in my belly to compete but first I need time on bikes and also I need a race bike again and a van/trailer.

Only a few things in my way (rolf)

So to update I now have a son , Robin , who is 3 months old and we are loving life and he keeps telling me to keep the dream alive.

I have my pit bike 140 to possibly race but also now me and my dad Phil for those that remember have a yzf r125 to endurance race this year and next which is a plus.

Deep down all I want to do is race the big bikes again but as per money gets in the way

Going to be moving house after getting married in 2022 so my major comeback will hopefully be 2023/2024 but I have to plan this far ahead to make it work!

Was thinking how great it would be to have that tank slap hand on the bikes like the old days.

So yes without further a do, I hope your all well, that is just an update on my life and how I can't wait to get back to two wheels!

Peace out x

I saw your post looking for parts. After selling my Daytona 5 yrs ago I literally only just threw out all my left over stuff a month ago. Though not much of it would be any good to you for racing other than levers and gears, which you could probably get locally for cheaper than international postage from Aus

Looking forward to seeing what weapon you build up!!!

Hey Matty, I've got a rear wheel and (I think) a double bubble knocking about and getting in the way if any use. Think the tyre is an SC02, but it's from 2013 so probably not much use to you

I'll have a look tonight and see if there's anything else. I might still have the stator and clutch covers, but off a 650 and not sure if they fit the 600.
