That driver may as well hand their licence in now, that said I couldn’t see if he had blues and twos on, but I’m guessing he was after the other scrote on the trail bike.
OPs! yep i think your right..... Looking at it was the police bike in a chase? a enduro went past first at a fair lick before hand..
Ah you just said that already Deegee!!! Doh missed it until I pushed the submit button loll
Car drivers fault simple as that. No indication, no visual check around him, turned quickly and deliberately. = negligence on the road. To me the copper is a highly skilled rider, he's not going to make rookie mistake like not putting on blues, looks like he was simply filtering past like anyone of us do.
That driver MISSED a hugh YELLOW bike...what would he of done if it was us in all black leathers hunched up on a small black sports bike.
Again very true. But i guess it means you are out to be seen and also gives pieve of mind. Personally i wear high vis now through commuting times but then again I also put on my full beams when filtering which has helped a few times
I think it comes down to mental approach.
I don't think riders who are inclined to wear hi-viz are out to cause carnage. Two-piece leathers vs. a one-piece, etc......you dress according to how you're going to ride.
As for drivers, I don't think a bike/rider "registers" with car drivers in the same way a car does. It's not taken as a threat.
Size matters, I guess.
