Street Triple/Daytona gear shift support

Post by duke63 »

Anyone got any knowledge of whether these are a good investment?

Can't say i notice many missed changes on the bike but i can understand the logic of what it does.

It honestly looks like a waste of money to me. I understand the principle but it seems daft.

An external support bearing & oil seal, to further support the gear selector shaft.?

Fwiw it would seem to me rather pointless, unless there is some fundamental flaw that we are unaware of in Triumphs design or bearing specification.?

I had one on the RC8 - it did make a difference, but the gearshift was shite from factory, so worth it. Sato make them too, so i had one of those when i bought my Sato rearsets.

Tbh the gearchange on the ST is excellent, so i dont know why people would need one for that.
