New Speed Triple
Looks like Triumph are launching them at the end of the month.
Some of us saw a preview at the NEC show (had to sign a NDA) but it looks a good upgrade tbh.

Oh look, a new speed triple
(fake surprise face)
It's a good job Triumph didn't leave one lying about when I went on the factory tour

You've known me long enough to know I'm a nosy bastard.
Did anyone get told off for leaving it out?

Re: New Speed Triple
not that I'm aware.
I keep getting tempted. My central exhaust manifold thingy came apart the other day. Boy was my bike loud. It's off the road whilst I find time to fit the Arrow low boy.

Re: New Speed Triple
I am as well. but I want the top spec. And that is £16K (RRP).
I'll wait until June when my bike is paid off and decide then. As things are changing at home so money situation could be positive or negative what it is now.
I probably won't get the next new speed, as I am still happy with mine. I'll just put the new exhaust on and freshen it up. If I can find a credit card that does 10-15K interest free for 12months. I'll apply and get a new bike in June for a year, then flog it.

Re: New Speed Triple
I had an email from Triumph the other day asking me if I wanted to be entered into a draw for a ticket to a very special live event. I’m guessing that is it.

Are you with Lloyds? I've not had a credit card for a few years but they have credit card with 0% on purchases for 29 months.D6 wrote:

Re: New Speed Triple
I'd never thought about the old credit card for that... I suppose you have a rough idea on what the bike will be worth in 12 months time so just pay that amount in over the year, sell the bike and pay it off. Or at least that's the plan!

For looks, I always liked the old Triple you had in Toxic Green...but when I finally rode one I thought it was a bit cumbersomeKwacky wrote:Oh look, a new speed triple

Ha ha! Funnily enough I stumbled on her channel yesterday. Promises far more boobs than it actually delivers.

Re: New Speed Triple
Good video.
I see they had arrows cans on. Nice.
Triumph have registered an R and an RS 1050 in California. I wonder if there's an S model as well like the Street?
