Guess what I won, cheers Kwacky I owe you cake.
Strangely my boss won as well, what's the etiquette? Do I have to let him lap me?

To be fair to him he's actually got a Panigale and doesn't hang about.
Should I be worried that he might actually lap me!

You must be a little confused mate.: Even I know it's braking points & corner lines that you must be thinking on a trackdayMonty wrote:Thinking brake lines!

I won a place too, can't wait! Anyone else coming for a play in the "advanced" group?
It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits

I went last year and had a ball.. fingers crossed it isn't 35*C for you guys as I genuinely found relief when I went back out on track for the first 10 minutes.
The average pace was a lot higher than any trackday I'd been to before also (Y)

Re: Possible freebie - Rockingham 17th August
I've just emailed them and asked them to put me in the novices. Not done a track day for 3 years, only been to Rockingham once and only then for a few laps on an MV F4 demo day. Plus I'm going on a bike holiday the week after and very scared of binning it!steveo9913 wrote:I won a place too, can't wait! Anyone else coming for a play in the "advanced" group?
They did say I could move back up on the day if I wanted to.

Sensible, Monty but from what I hear also a little pointless - you'll be up the chuff of every mother there

At least you know you can move groups. Find your feet then move up.

Cracking day, rain in the morning but dryish by the second session. Bone dry by lunch.
Really impressed with the 6 on track, but need to sort out the forks. Bouncing off the top springs!
