Rode the SUV into work.

The roads are definitely busier. There were a few slow patches of traffic on the motorway.

This time of year I'm usually bombing about the roads of France :(

We are desperate to come over but the idiots in charge here change the rules on a a daily basis, probably based on what they read in the Daily Express.

Still in a year or so's time we might be spending a lot less time in the UK hopefully.

Booked it in for a service.

I'm embarrassed to say I have done about 1000 miles in the last 12 months (cry)

Not good. Looks tidy though. You won't struggle to sell it.

Took all the bodywork off to find and waterproof the alarm connector and re-fit the standard exhaust, the alarm connector is not there (under the tank) as it's been wired directly to the bikes loom and the standard exhaust does not fit, like a bit was cut off the headers to fit the Delkevic (lol)

Ah well, all other related wiring connectors waterproofed with self amalgamating tape and the wiring re-routed to keep it out of the air flow a bit more. This bike will be right, one day. Gradual improvements are being made.

Hopefully this will give you more insight, Stonesie.

Interesting, looking at that link my bike seems to have the headers from a 07+ bike so there's no wonder an exhaust from another 05 won't work. I can find one cheap enough I suspect.

I don't have the budget for a trident at the moment.

I needed to get out so I finished work at 4 and grabbed the keys for the SUV.

What was going to be a quick hour turned into a 200 miles 4 and a half hour run into Wales.

Basically I went Kidderminster, Cleobury Mortimer, Burford, Stockton, Leominster, Kington then Crossgates.

I started up the A483 put peeled off and played on the narrow farm lanes. Ideal roads for the Honda, apart from having to dodge the tractors and other agricultural plant. I ended up behind Knighton then made my way back home
