Norton Motorcycles
Are they in financial trouble again?

The accounts up to March 2018 seem to suggest that over £7m worth of debt is about to fall due.
The basis for disclaimer makes for interesting reading as well

Re: Norton Motorcycles
The disclaimers mean there is no certainty over how accurate those accounts are.
There was a thread elsewhere where people who had put deposits down last year and earlier, threatened to take the Company to court to wind them up, and i believe had instructed solicitors to do just that as the delivery date of their bikes was continuously put off.
The accounts suggest the Company has little liquid cash. Not a good place to be.

Re: Norton Motorcycles
I hope they run well at the TT with John McGuiness but then saying that I might not wish them so well if I had a deposit on a bike that wasn't materialising and they were spending my hard earned on racing

Re: Norton Motorcycles
They're the only company I can think of that seem to be doing an annual comeback tour.

Re: Norton Motorcycles
Doesn't sound good then. That's a real shame though as they are a nostalgia type of manufacturer

Re: Norton Motorcycles
According to someone on the Ducati forum, the few bikes they are sending out are not homologated for or approved for use on UK or European roads.

They are not road registered as they do not have a certificate of Conformity.

Re: Norton Motorcycles
Company is now facing a £300k winding up petition from HMRC.
It's time the company was put out of its misery.

Re: Norton Motorcycles
Well John McGuiness has posted on twitter today that he can't get hold of Stuart and he's trying to get hold of him.
I wonder if they owe him money.....
