Re: A Third bike
I think I'm leaning more towards a middle weight.
I did like the Speed but the Street RS is better value for money. I was certainly quicker on the Street than I was on the Speed which suggests that the Street and me were more suited.

Re: A Third bike
I think a Ducati is more than the sum of it's parts. They're an "owner's bike" in a way Japanese bikes can only dream about.Kwacky wrote:That 848 is gorgeous. I bet it sounds just as good as well with those Terrys on it.
My problem is that I've not ridden a Ducati sportsbike for about 10 years now. I have no idea if I like them.

Re: A Third bike
Between the Versys and something missile-like for the weekend, where does that leave time to ride the AT other than a TS Euro trip?

Re: A Third bike
The AT will be used at weekends and switched over to commuting from time to time. I want to explore some green lanes nearby as well and when the kids are a bit older I take Mrs K away for weekends. The AT is my long termer.

Re: A Third bike
I think that you could build a replica of my MT-10 within budget, Tony at Parkitt is the man who tuned it and is advising in this months PB, looks like he has found some airbox mods that would make it faster than mine.

Re: A Third bike
Bang a deposit on it if your serious, it might not hang around at that money. Call it an early Xmas present plus most dealers offer a refundable deposit if you haven't seen it.
Worst case scenario you could test ride it for a few months and if you dont like it sell on in summer probably for a small profit.

Re: A Third bike
The 848 is the dogsdanglies. Only 3300 miles? Why do some people waste money on a bike? Bit pricey though for what it is
