Picked this up yesterday and then did 150 miles round the roads of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The bike is amazing and the engine is an absolute gem. So much power and torque everywhere.

I have to give credit where it’s due and say the generosity of my wife was involved in the buying of this V4.
It was a hope I could buy one next year. She made it possible to actually buy this now.
4 year standard warranty means it’s going to be with me for at least that long.
Just want to get some long trips done on it, hopefully on less crowded roads than I was on yesterday.

Took it to work this morning to a client who is a bit of a petrol head.

Played with the modes a bit this time. Sport is a bit mental. It’s a very chuckable bike once used to the size again.

Also got the hill hold to work this time.

You should also have a setting to calibrate the tyre fitted for the TC. Might be worth running that as you have non standard tyres fitted.

My dealer advised me its a useful tool if the brand of tyre is changed.

Took it out early to get some more 'running in' miles done with rain forecast for lunchtime.

Didnt quite make it back before the rain started.

Booked it in for 6 00 mile service in two weeks time.

Really gelling with the bike now, it's so easy to ride.

Been out for a bimble for an hour and a half this afternoon.

I am struggling with the clutch a bit as the lever is a long reach even after adjustment and the clutch has very little play.

I have been pointed in the direction of a Brembo Corta RCS lever which has adjustable throw but its not a cheap option. Will have a chat with JHP first to see if there is any way of adjusting the throw on the standard set up.

Adjusted the levers and bars at JHP the other day and took some front preload off. Its much better and nicer to ride now.

However i have asked them to order in the bars fitted to the new Pikes Peak version as they are slightly lower and not as wide.

I also need to adjust the gear lever as its slightly too low.
