That grass won't stay green for long though, if he plays around with it on there. (smirk)

I had a IT465 2 smoker for a few years.. loved that engine. I also had a Husaberg 400 4 stroke and while it was a far better bike there was something about that big 2 stroke that I still miss.

Might as well keep this as an update diary if anybody is interested
I have booked Coventry practice day on Sunday on my own so will probably get a full day in, picked up a 2nd hand trailer last night, will prep the bike Saturday. Need to read up on tyre pressures and get my suspension sag sorted.
£30 quid for the day is one of the reasons I was drawn to MX ,a full road bike track day would cost at least £500 all in with tyres fuel etc
There are also loads of tracks around my area for Enduro and MX Practice days

Nice, lots of fun. Bonus is this nipper is doing it as well, so no time lost with family. I found MX took up all my weekends in the end... ha ha caused a few issue.

I did the same on my husaberg FX400 years ago. Make sure you ensure the big end is 100%. I didn’t and after a top end and piston 2 rides later the big end went

It’s been stripped down and inspected ,it’s just the titanium valves that are pitted .Apparently they all do it but I am having a new piston chucked in while it’s apart
I took the kids to a new track today and Evie went on the adult track ,there’s no going back now
I missed riding mine today !

Ah good to hear it’s only pitted mate. Mine broke a valve head off and lunched the piston. I knew I was in trouble when I removed the exhaust and bits of piston shrapnel fell out of it (lol)

This thread is making me want to get a MX’er again but I’m just wise enough to realise that it’s not the smartest idea for my longevity
