Give them a call and remind them to stop at yours on their way home!

So first impressions.

It's like the F3 but naked. It's tiny, light and quick.

Everything about it feels a lot more refined. The engine and clutch is quiet at idle. The SCS and the QS need to be set up. The bike starts to pull forward in first when it's not supposed to and the QS doesn't always work between first and second.

The power delivery below 8k feels more subtle than the F3 but it's just as quick, if not slightly quicker.

It's a completely different animal above 8k. It's got a QD exhaust which sounds phenomenal going up and down the gears.

The bike was registered in June 2020 so it's the just over 2 years left on the warranty, which I'm hoping I won't have to use.

There's a box load of goodies with it but that's in the back of my wife's car.

I'll have a tinker with the maps this afternoon.

Happy new bike day Kwacky, some lovely MV touches in evidence.
Is that really a marking on the fork inners saying that they are aluminium.? -First time I've heard of that.

I had a quick local blast this evening. It's tempting to stay out, but the roads are still cold, I'm getting used to the bike and there's police about, so I only did about an hour

It's a very nimble bike. If I was a half decent rider this thing would be on its ear at every corner. The small size, low weight and well balanced feel work really well.

Lots of people, myself included, argue that naked bikes let you feel the speed so you're a bit more sensible.

Yeah. About that.

You can hit 110-120 in no time. It's not the wind but the noise coming from the triple that tells you your fun is no longer legal. There's a surprising amount of wind protection given there's no screen to speak of.

The seat is firm, which I don't mind but I know others have complained about it.

I would like a bit more initial grab from the brakes, but that's personal preference.

Downshifts can be a little stiff, especially from 6th. The bike is still new so it might just need a bit of time. Upshifts are really slick and you get an addictive soundtrack when you're using the QS.

It looks to me like the seat is fairly high, is it??

It's not. It's a really small bike so I guess the seat looks high in proportion

I think it's a trick of proportions, we're so used to seeing the rear suspension under the seat and because of the SSA it's empty.

I think it adds to the dramatic, aggressive stance of the bike.

Yep.... that big gap/space makes me think dirt bike or enduro, and those always seem like the seat is up in the nosebleed section.

The rear sub frame is cast and according to Perkles it's been fine bead blasted
