Fair play if they are still working on it.

She's home.

They've done a full clean. It's spotless. There's a bit of tape on the chain which I presume is used as a marker for cleaning. Even the underside of the exhaust is clean.

They've even taken out a scratch on the mudguard.

I'll do a full inspection tomorrow in the light

The best things are with waiting for, apparently.

May not have been the best service, but at least they seem to be trying to make amends.

A nice blast out to make sure the bike was working.

It's a what biking is all about. I'm laughing as the bike takes off like a rocket. The front is skipping over the tarmac, the bars giving a slight wiggle. The sound from the engine, exhaust and induction choir is truly intoxicating.

I love it.

Fast Bikes have taken an identical bike to mine out for a test ride.

We're basically agree about these bikes. They slag off the old style dash but the new bikes have a good sized TFT instead of the old LCD looking dash I've got

The suspension is better suited for the track. It is. I need to get mine sorted.

The throttle is too aggressive in sports mode. I kind of agree. It's a bit harsh when you first ride it, but it makes total sense when you're on it and working the gears.

Overall they really liked it. Said it's mental and a bit of an animal.

I don't understand why people take the standard number plate holder off the rear wheel and stick it under the tail. It ruins the looks imo

Me neither.

I think most tail tidies look worse than the OEM fitted as well.

The plate is the problem.... and then there's a few poorly thought-out solutions that try to work around the problem rather than solving it.

I sent a couple of emails out about possibly upgrading the OEM damper. I've been told you can't, so the only option is an upgrade.

I'll have a look around but I'm not sure it's worth the costs.

Speak to the main man at Mupo, I think it's Dave Croft. He will have a good upgrade solution for you but also loves to create some custom stuff from time to time. He'll love having the exotica in too no doubt.

I've ordered some EBC HH pads.

The OEM pads are good but they lack the initial bite I like from my brakes.

It's booked in for an annual service.

I'll get them to bleed the rear brake while they've got it.

Annual service done. Brakes bled, so I've got a working rear brake. Let's see how long that lasts. MV know there's an issue but they're not sure how to fix it. The joys of MV ownership.

SSR have set up the suspension.

The bike is still stiff. He said the bike has a short and stuff chassis and the suspension is limited. The OEM suspension is good but it's been built with a limited range of adjustability.

The front forks had the most work done.

The rear spring is ideal, it doesn't need changing.

He took me through the front and rear adjustments and told me what does what.

He agreed that the steering damper has limited adjustment but he reckons you don't need one on a road bike.
