Thanks, I'm still sat watching the rain lol the bike has been delayed for some reason, it was supposed to be here at 11. I got a call at 11 saying it was about to be loaded on the van and would be here by 12, it's 1 now and no sign of it...

Good job it's my day off, if I only had a couple of hours available to receive it then I would be pissed off.

I've just seen the photos on facebook.

That bike looks better than new. Whoever had it last really looked after it. Nice to see he rode it as well, there's no chicken strips on those tyres (rock)

Yep it arrived at about 2:20 and I have already taken the baffle out for a quick rev and fitted the tracker.
The bike is immaculate, I haven't the heart to go and get it dirty just yet.

The previous owner has some Rizoma grips, evotech tail tidy, brand new DID chain and SuperSprox sprockets (standard gearing) and the Lextek 4-1 exhaust with a re-map to suit. It also has a new pair of nicely scrubbed in Avon Storm 3DXM's

I can't wait to get out on it on a dry day and see how she handles.

And I already have a Givi tank bag on order, not even room for a mars bar and bottle of pop under that pillion seat (giggle)

So far I need a sat-nav/phone holder, I think some smaller rear indicators would be a nice addition as the tail tidy means the standard ones look out of place and hit the panniers, which as a nice surprise have the inner bags too (rock) and a radiator guard is a must.

I have a USB socket with volt meter on the way (green)

I had a proper look under its nose, under the seats and behind the shock, not a spec of rust or muck, even the shock linkage is clean...

No radiator guard though so I have already ordered one from Evotech. I have used their guards on 5 bikes now.

I keep getting recommendations for the Oxford Eyeshot nano indicators, anyone on here used them?

Better than new Stonsie, in all respects. Congratulations.
Fwiw I agree that the Nano's would tidy up the tail end, shame to have those lumps on the nicely proportioned Evotech bracket.

Lovely looking bike.

I still don't get the appeal of supposed tail tidies though. 99% look worse than standard IMHO.

Nice one, I had two of those the second one did a leisurely 3,500 mile jaunt around Europe without missing a beat.
Mine had a tail tidy on the first one, but I found that when wet you will get your back plastered with SH1*e,
I didn't bother when I bought the second one, enjoy the bike.

A belated happy new bike day. Hope you are happy and she is fitting in well with the family! Personally love a tail tidy, makes the bike look a lot more slicker. Also regarding the oxford indicators - I believe Farmer used them and ill be honest it would be better to stick with standards OR order official LED indicators

I got out on it yesterday and wow, it's a totally different animal to the KTM, probably not as fast but feels like it handles better.
The noise from that exhaust is not as annoying as I feared it might be and the pops/cracks/bangs are insane, I love it, the previous owner had it mapped for this exhaust and it's so smooth that I'm sure that it's running properly.

Comfort is good, slightly less leg room than the KTM but not uncomfortable and no excess vibration. The one that I tested, a newer and lower mileage bike had a severe vibration above 6K, warped discs and a faulty clutch switch. This bike has none of those issues.

The Avon tyres are great, as-in they handled everything that I asked of them on salty, crappy roads with streams running across them in places they didn't flinch, not once did they give me any feedback which made me think of replacing them. The TC only flashed when I switched it to max and nailed it while lent over.

The rear indicators are on the list for later in the year, OEM Kawasaki LED's are available as fitted to the Versys 1000 and Z900RS for £75 each, for similar money I could have the 3 function Rizoma's (Indicator/tail/stop) which would clear the panniers with the tail tidy where the standard ones rub.
The standard screen is Okay, the dark Puig looks better and apparently works better too so is also on the list.

Auto Finesse Avalanche, Halfords stock it so nice and easy to get hold of. I mix it 10/1 in the foam gun and if I turn the valve almost all the way closed it comes out like shaving foam :D
