If you can get it round the back would a shed / office be an option again? Or even better a workshop like Cav built ?
That's the plan, not sure I will get away with a brick built workshop though. If it's an office for the company though, just with an expensive 2 wheel ornament, then that's a different matter.

My god I love this bike.

The tyres are well an truly bedded in now and they are fantastic on the dry and cold roads. With the engine and suspension set in dynamic the bike tracks lines perfectly and feels much more nimble than it should for such a big lump.

Even when I went exploring and the road turned into a single track, moss covered, bumpy, near farm track affair. With a quick flick of a button to soften of the suspension into road then the XR marches on with confidence.

Did have the entertainment of the ACF50 burn off as well... Lol..

I love this bike..

After a couple of really shitty days weather wise and a really loose chain (sorted last night) the roads turned dry. Cold, but dry.

Decided to unleash dynamic mode, both engine and suspension. Feck me! After weeks in rain mode I'd forgotten how brutal she can be.. I got home in almost record time with a stupid grin on my face.

I so can't wait for summer and sports bike hunting

That bike is 1 second a lap slower, around a track than the class leading superbike, the S1000RR ridden by a professional rider (y)

On the road, I cant see anything under 800cc having a chance and any sportsbike of equal capacity or greater will only beat it, if ridden by a better rider imo.

Tbh in almost all situations I would say that bike is better suited to the road, than most large capacity sportsbikes.

Enjoy the sportsbike hunting (lol)

Wow, 3 years has come round very quickly.

There's not been many updates to post over the time as various factors including changing jobs and COVID meant I didn't spend as much time riding as I wanted.

It's a great bike and I've loved owning it, however it was always a compromise towards commuting over fun. With the change to WFH that balance can now be addressed, the time for change it nigh...
