This is the way it’s been since we got bought out. The new company is ruthless, and bottom line rules all decisions.

Sounds to me like they're letting one crew go home early for Christmas

We have been run at 45-60% manning levels since quarantine started so it’s more they want to get back to safe manning levels asap. Which is code for “full production” as part of our mitigation for the manning we have atm is reduced maintenance which is in turn impacting on production.

They won’t be letting anyone off early, they are scrambling to fill positions as it is.

So means I’m home for Christmas now. (rock)
Well just got a follow up email as I posted that.

To balance man power requirements offshore my roster has been moved forward a week and I have to mobilise on the 21 Dec, so no Christmas at home (doh)

I can just see their management meeting on the 20th...: " what do you mean every single one of this roster has returned a positive Covid test ? "

This is well worth a read. It's not a five minute read but if you have any interest in where we're now, it's very enlightening. The human body and the cells within us are astonishingly clever

(nod) Sound fact behind those rumours, hindsight would indicate.?
As "role models" the much publicised figure of over 25% of players in the English Football League saying they do not intend to get the jab is going to have another effect too, isn't it.?

Christmas parties have always been an opportunity for like-minded opportunists to get together for a bit of "combining"....
A number of Avian flu cases have been detected up here.
As a result, "our Uncle Paul (the bird fancier) " may be hosting a special encounter.: Miss Omnicron, meet Mr H5N8..
Now the offspring of that ^ encounter may take a lot more of us out.? :^

Seasons greetings.!

Mrs K is laid in bed with it. Very similar symptoms to mine. She's at the severe sore throat stage.

My throat is still sore but I've been able to drink and I've had a couple of small things to eat. I'm tired. Everything feels like hard work.

..... And every other country on that list aside from Peru has a much higher population than the UK. - that doesn't read well.
