Depends on your perspective I suppose, on whether or not people want to live in the past, or look to the future??
It's not like England doesn't have plenty of reminders of a less-than-perfect past dotted around for those that choose to see them, is it...??

There's pavement stones in Germany to mark where people lived before being dragged off to an extermination camp.

Do they go as well?

A Nation of delivery drivers and warehouse workers selling imported goods...that's what Britian is becoming.

Brexit? They had 4 years to plan and instead spent it arguing and doing nothing else.

(wait) This lot.??

(shake) I shouldn't expect they'll give a flying duck, just so long as they keep getting their backhanders & favours. The United Kingdom's deterioration won't really effect them personally, in fact I don't doubt that our demise will avail many rich pickings for the unscrupulous.

This has to happen with the amount of debt the World is now in.

You can well believe Johnson would be dead against it though. Brexit was all about tax loopholes for him and his kind.

But no one is going to change the laws to make them pay their share
