Kwacky's Security Services.

I'll have a look over the weekend but I know I've got at least 2 chains not being used and there's a ground anchor kicking about.

I recommend these as well:

Have a look here (y)

Although if it's in a garage my personal opinion would be stop them getting in the garage first.

Last 2 houses I've put a secure by design Hormann sectional door on. Not that expensive either for a single door with mechanical lock rather than an electric operator.

If you dont want to invest in a new garage door there are many cheaper options to help secure your current door. Shoot bolts, anti snap cylinders, fit a wooden baton to the inside of an up and over door, etc....

Might be useful info

Fit these top and bottom and also put a strengthening bar a cross the bottom of the door.

They can be made pretty secure as per that video.

I would also chain the bike down in the garage.

If it's easy for you to get the bike out, it's easy for someone to steal it.

I park a car in front of the garage. It's more natural looking than guard towers and laser equipped robot sentries.

Simple and cheap way to secure a door is drill a hole through the door and frame and pass a 10mm bolt through and hand tighten with a nut.

Put a bar or length of wood along the inside bottom edge of any metal garage door too, it stops anyone bending up the base of the door.

You can only make it difficult and noisy for them to get in.

Good suggestion Duke that is a common method of entry.

Anti snap locks are cheap and 2 minutes to fit and good mod as lock snapping is also common

I have these:

https://www.lockandkey.co.uk/p/abs-anti ... -cylinder/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There are slightly cheap ones but at the time I bought these, they were the only ones Police approved.

For garage doors you would only need a half cylinder.

Those locks look good. Will see if they fit my door later.

I've toyed with replacing the door but cant see there is any real benefit with the money I have spent on it over the last few years.

Cant see us still living in the same house in a few years time.

If your moving soon Duke, then no point replacing the door tbh. If not then they are not as expensive as you might think, plus they are 42mm insulated so helps keep the garage nice as toastie as a bonus to the increased secuirty.

The locks I posted are very good and I'm sure you will be happy. Make sure you get enough keys as getting them cut is not straight forward.
They can only be cut by a Specialist and only if you give them your unique user ID which stops people borrowing a key and getting a spare cut without your knowledge

Personally would suggest a Almax biggest chain and a Y Anchor and a alarmed disc lock. Best security I've seen
