I'd like to race at minimal cost to myself.. that'd be awesome if possible.
I'm saving for a house so I'd imagine my girlfriend wouldn't be happy with me blowing our £10k saved for a deposit on racing!
..Monty - not enough!

Cav's Racing Aspirations
The full Catalunya report has not yet been published, however, some videos have been released to the media and many suggestions of racing have been flooding in from the millions of fans.... (lol) So anyway, some people have suggested I start racing. My mates even suggested whipping up the fund for t...

Re: Leave the camera at home
I got caught doing 104mph in a 30mph zone by the police. I did it the day before I sold my bike and picked up my new one. I was caught because I put the video on social media... too fast for points and fine so straight to court. Fortunately they dropped it and I got away with it but the lesson was l...

Bloody hell...
going back to the point - if it was me I would keep changing it yearly for the reason of you have no idea if the oil has degraded or not. The oil/vehicle manufactures state 1 year or XX,XXX miles between changes for a reason

Re: 2017 Honda Fireblade ?
I wouldn't be surprised if they tested frames, engines, gearboxes, etc in isolation. Clearly the engine cover is a different colour and slightly different shape so to me it looks as if they've transplanted the new engine into the old bike. Also, what's the say the frame isn't different towards the y...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Using feeler gauges I measured 0.5mm of clearance between the wheel hub and the brake caliper body. Have you span the wheel all the way around to check it clears across every part of the wheel? Wheels are not perfectly round and parts flex and move in application. We've been caught out with things ...

Re: OIL CHANGE FREQUENCY
Keep it as is.. oil degrades over time and especially going through cold winters etc it's likely to have degraded within a year. Maybe change the oil you're using to bring the cost down though. I used Rock Oil Guardian Semi-synthetic on the road and that was more than adequate plus half the cost of ...

Slightly jealous of you going to Tokyo.. Make sure you get enough farfetch'd to trade when they bring that into the game ;) When I went to London I didn't catch anything new but that was mainly down to a lack of time and spending what time there was with my family.. I now have Bulbasaur as my buddy ...

Re: Oulton Park
I did Donington with FE a year ago and Transponders were free (just had to buy a bracket). Was very satisfying moving from Novice to Fast group. Even funnier when people come into your garage, giving you tips etc because they saw you have Group 1 on your bike, then when you point out they scribbled ...

Re: Pokemon Go
Not sure what it stands for but if you have 2 of the same pokemon (lets just say a Poliwag) with maxed out stardust, 1 is level 700 and the other is level 600 (but you can't level them up anymore) and the HP is 70 for one and 50 for the other, you have a stronger or weaker pokemon. This is known as ...

I wish I could have had this near me as a kid.. we made do with a 'mountain' (it's a 10foot hill) and a 6'x50' dense tree area.

Re: Pokemon Go
Nice one - that'll be around the 1200 mark as Hypno.. I caught a Sandshrew on the way out of my office heading for lunch. Low level but first I've caught (hatched 2 from 5km eggs). I looked at my Poliwags/whirls and the highest is 50% IV which I'm just not going to bother with. Also, I dont have muc...

Re: Oulton Park
Does sound like a half decent day you had there then mate! The red flags are annoying - I did one trackday where every session was red flagged with 10 crashers on the same corner. At lunch time they called everyone in for a second briefing saying that if everyone keeps crashing they would have to ca...
