Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
You say "no supercorsa" but I found when I went to the Racetec K3 from a Dunlop Sportsmart I could tell there was loads more grip but I couldn't go any faster and I enjoyed the Dunlop more. I think I prefer a less sticky tyre in all honesty - the same goes on a trackday, I prefer to have t...

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
How would you rate these tyres for fast road riding and cold/wet trackdays?

Re: New hoops. Metzeler Roadtec 01 Review
I got a puncture in the rear tyre of my 50cc 4t scooter. Inflated it to about 50psi and in the 5 mile journey to the tyre place it went flat about 3 miles in! Absolute nightmare

Probably about 5 years or less with Ducati... they seem to be the only people that really push the boat out though IMO

Re: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000SX ongoing review
I was/am always more cautious with my front tyres. 500-1000 miles after the tyre starts to lose grip is when I would change it. Usually, on the road the front tyre would wear out in a horrible way which meant fast riding was nearly impossible. I'm quite excited by the prospect of getting some Sport ...

Re: Good article about Marquez and his riding style
I think Marquez had the toughest season this year. He threw away last season by crashing so much (exactly what Rossi and Lorenzo did this season) and he just kept plugging away and taking points. The first time I saw him ride a MotoGP bike I was hooked. The kid is insane. Oh how I would love 1-on-1 ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
You should never be using all of the travel in case of emergency. Even the MotoGP boys have a couple of mm travel left for an 'oh-sh!t' moment.
Also, if you're using all the travel on the road that means everytime you get to a big bump your spine gets butt-rammed so hard you can't see straight

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yeah get it done. It makes a big difference. I feel the guy I took it too was a little conservative - on closer inspection I'm almost bottomed out on my suspension travel midcorner at Catalunya

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I found I took a little compression off the front but the rear was just terrible. Increase sag by 5mm and upped compression (increased sag for plushness but then it kept bottoming on bumps) and it was just woeful.
Still blistering fast but not comfortable haha

Calculating Mass and Moments of our products by part number. From that I need to plot data to check we are correctly specifying our parts.
Issues with a particular part number are giving us reasons to believe there is something 'wrong' by design. Not a major issue but our yield is low

4 DNFs for Rossi this year? Not much recovering from that if you ask me.
Marquez threw it away last year and learned his lesson - he is definitely World Championship worthy

Re: Catalunya October 2016
The theoretical speed with the gearing and 180/60 I had was 176mph - I just checked again. I was getting past 16,000RPM and seeing 174mph on the dash. With the 200 section tyre the top speed would have been 177mph. Either way, I was winning drag races with other 600s and they were all flat out on th...
