Re: What are you doing today ??

... of behaviour. A guy had been drinking all night and was driving home at 5.30am. A conciseness citizen such as yourself observed him all over the road and off it and was on a call to 000 reporting it while following. Unfortunately I was on my way to the RAAF Base for a 6am start and he hit me ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Picked the SUV up.

The type of road conditions for it so I took the opportunity to have a play on some of the local country and farm roads.

I have to admit I've missed riding that bike. It's pretty versatile for an oil tanker

Israel

it's turning very nasty. Ignore the media broadcasts, what they're not showing is groups of Jewish Israelis dragging Palestinians and Arabs out of their cars and homes then beating them or worse. One video shows a group beating a man unconscious ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Answered a post on our local community FB page. A courier had accidentally gone down a dead end steep road that turns to dirt and got stuck down the bottom in his van. Jumped at the chance to break out the recovery gear I’ve bought for 4WDing (but yet to use in anger) and ...

Re: Stonesie New Bike

... eBay... The brightness is almost the same and the light colour is identical. Night driving on country lanes is great now I can see way down the road. The Sprint has 3 projectors so the beam should be good if I just fit led bulbs to those for now without changing the outer pair, but I'm in no ...

Started to head south, then ended up going north, getting diverted off a main road where they obviously caught out buses and cars alike with a road closure to redress it!!! carnage of people trying to turn around with no idea ...

Re: Ducati Multistrada V4

... That's another one I would like to look at as well. I think after yesterdays little ride a bike with long suspension to soak up all the crap road is a must. They are worse than ever with not just pot holes, but poorly dressed, and even when re surfaced, the level of quality of flat and smooth ...

Re: Ducati Multistrada V4

... without being dull, goes like stink when you want but will pootle about when you don't, the suspension just soaks up every single bump in the road and has real road presence. Just brilliant. All that said, i got back on the Triumph to ride home and it felt like a moneky bike to start with, ...

Re: Kwacky's next new bike thread

... speed and I was enjoying myself at 50-80mph, not 70-100 like with the fairings on. It's the reason I think a super naked is the best do-it-all road bike. The combination of torque for touring/cruising, the upright position and the lack of fairing for making fun more accessible.
