... meeting at 9am so I can get some breakfast in first. If you get there early I'll be round the corner in the cafe next door to the Natwest (Terrace Road). It's got a big red illy sign above the door.

[Can we add after A5270 go straight ahead onto B5053 into Longnor and then right turn onto the Leek road (very twisty with a few jumps). . That road is brilliant and scarey in equal measure. Your not wrong. I had all 4 wheels off the road in the car the other day and I actually ...

... can save a route in google maps I will post it up for comment. Any chance you could do that anyway. I'm interested to see if your favourite local roads are the same as my favourites. If you set it up as a collaborative map I can add mine after and then we can share it on here for anyone visiting ...

I don't doubt racing bikes is much like riding road bikes in so much as some bikes feel great instantly you get on them and others are hard work. It was specifically the front end they said was crap. They reckoned the front had too much rake.

... him round maybe tomorrow, we've also found out some detail on the incident from an eye witness who was behind him, a stationary car on an A road decided to do a U turn in front of him, he didn't have a chance to avoid it. Stay safe out there people, watch out for those cagers!!!!

I wasn't overly impressed with the SBS pads yesterday. Clearly they're geared up for the road. On the track they heated up very quickly and did a great job of stopping the bike, but they're very wooden. There was very little feedback from them and they were a bit grabby. ...

I had a cracking day - the SV is a pleasure at Mallory, and I particularly like the bit when people ask what I've done to the engine to make it so fast ... "Nothing, it's stock" ;-)

Like Godzilla, I have never found another helmet that fits me better than a Shoei and I currently own a GT Air.. Internal sun visors are so much better for road use.
